Michigan has three midseason AP All-Americans.

For those that are fans of midseason polls and awards, the Associated Press released their midseason All-American teams Tuesday afternoon.

Among Michigan’s 22 starters, three landed on the AP’s list of the nation’s best players by position.

  • Senior DE Chase Winovich (First Team)
  • Junior LB Devin Bush (Second Team)
  • Junior LG Ben Bredeson (Second Team)

Michigan’s three All-Americans gives them the third-most nationally, tied with Clemson, and trailing Alabama (5) and LSU (4).

In the Big Ten, Ohio State and Wisconsin had two All-Americans, Purdue had one — the rest of the conference didn’t have a student-athlete voted to the teams.

That leaves U-M with the most midseason All-Americans in the Big Ten.

The final list will be released following the conference championships. The full list of midseason All-Americans can be viewed here.
