Michigan senior defensive end Chase Winovich has been an outspoken face of Michigan’s 2018 season so far.
Following the Wolverines’ 21-7 victory over in-state rival, Michigan State, Winovich made comments about putting “our little brother in place.”
A Michigan State writer responded to the comments via Twitter.
Chase was in middle school when MSU began to take control of this rivalry. That’s a lot of failing to put them in their place.
Just being silent is sometimes the best way to win. Stronger statement. https://t.co/9BTrXInwfo

Winovich then asked if the MSU writer could do him a favor.
Then, the fifth-year senior responded, asking the Spartans writer to accept defeat.
