Michigan landed its sixth commitment of the 2019 class in 4-star QB recruit Cade McNamara.
A product of Reno (Nev.) Demonte Ranch high school, McNamara is ranked as the No. 9 pro-style quarterback in the country and the No. 316 player overall by the 247Sports Composite.
McNamara’s commitment comes on the Eve of Michigan’s annual Junior Day, hosting some of the country’s top junior prospects. It follows his decommitment from Notre Dame two weeks ago. He had committed in July.
He arrived to Ann Arbor a day before the pageantry and the initial visit was enough to secure the West Coaster’s pledge.
The sole quarterback in the class, McNamara is the sixth pledge, fourth 4-star and only West Coast prospect in the class.
