Michigan to host annual spring game at night, tickets are free

Michigan football announced its annual spring game will be played at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 14.

Via Twitter, the program made it public that this year’s first public look at Michigan football will be a night game in mid-April.

Already a cold month as is, hosting a night game in mid-April has already received some criticism from the reporters and fans. Traditionally a day game, the not-so-well received reaction from some folks thus far shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Though, our friends at Maize ‘n Brew shed some light on a definite positive of the late start.

In the end, if we’re all being honest, no one cares what time it starts so long as this guy comes out in the pistol formation donning the oh-so-special No. 2 jersey.

Spring practices for the Wolverines begin this Friday, March 23.
