Eddie McDoom leaves Michigan football

Sources tell The Wolverine Lounge junior wide receiver Eddie McDoom has left the Michigan football program.

A move that’s been lingering, a source confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that McDoom was no longer in Ann Arbor for fall camp, and no longer with the program.

McDoom, a Florida native, was in a logjam for the slot receiver position heading into camp.

Battling the likes of Grant Perry, Oliver Martin and more for the slot receiver position, McDoom wasn’t likely to see the same playing time he had in his first two seasons in Ann Arbor. Which, still wasn’t much.

The junior finished his Michigan career with 13 receptions for 110 yards.

McDoom’s transfer destination hasn’t been determined.
