Jim Harbaugh’s weekly press conference commenced inside Schembechler Hall on Labor Day afternoon.
Following a loss to Notre Dame, Harbaugh had a lot to say regarding his team’s loss to the Irish and what’s ahead for the Wolverines.
On Devin Bush: “Limited plays in the second half … (OK next week).”
On Shea Patterson😕“The thing that popped the most was his accuracy, location of the balls – he was accurate all game. I thought he managed the game extremely well, only one offensive penalty. I thought that was real positive.”
On offensive line😕“Quite a few boxes, you look at it, and it was improved.”
On losing to Notre Dame: “A loss hurts. It hurts your body. But getting our bodies back … guys played a very physical game, we came out well from a physical standpoint. Emotionally & mentally, it hurts.”
On Karan Higdon and Chris Evans: “Karan played well. We were riding with him, he was finding holes and picked up nice blocks. Chris came on in the second half … I don’t know if we’ll have a game where they get an equal amount of touches, but we’re confident in both of them.
On bouncing back from a loss: “Everyone believes in the team and believes in each other … We’re focusing on this game. None more important than this one.”
On Braylon Edwards comments:??It?s not true. It?s not factual. There?s no one in the program that thinks that about anyone on our team,? Harbaugh said. ?It?s disappointing that a member of the Big Ten Network would attack two of our players … Come at me, not our players.?
