Michigan ranked No. 9 in AP Poll

The AP Top 25 poll released Monday afternoon and ranked Michigan No. 9 in the country, rising up nine spots from last week’s ranking.

Following U-M’s 73-46 at now unranked Villanova and winning the Mohegan Sun tournament, the Wolverines find themselves 5-0 and the highest-ranked team in the Big Ten Conference, two spots ahead of No. 11 Michigan State.

Michigan faces lowly Chattanooga on Friday before next week’s Wednesday night matchup with No. 10 North Carolina.
