The fourth player to sit out Michigan’s Peach Bowl affair with Florida is senior offensive tackle Juwann Bushell-Beatty, a U-M spokesperson confirmed to the Detroit Free Press.
A fifth-year senior, Bushell-Beatty suffered a minor injury against Michigan State Oct. 20 and didn’t play against Ohio State Nov. 24.
Although he’s not mocked to be drafted by any NFL pundits so far, it seems Bushell-Beatty is playing it safe and hoping for a pivotal performance in the Shrine Game, Jan. 19 on NFL Network.
The Wolverines started sophomore Andrew Steuber in his place against Ohio State. During Wednesday’s 15-minute viewing session of the U-M practice, Stueber and true freshman Jalen Mayfield worked out at right tackle.
The Wolverine Lounge is live from Atlanta, Ga. all week as the No. 7 Wolverines face off with No. 10 Florida inside Mercedez-Benz Stadium on Saturday at noon. Any tips? Questions? Food recommendations? Email email@example.com
