Latest Michigan football injury report

At Monday’s weekly press conference, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh provided updates on his team’s injuries. Here’s what the man in charge had to say about the injury report as his team prepares for Rutgers:

Harbaugh’s latest:

QB Shea Patterson: After being evaluated for an injury against Wisconsin, Patterson is probable for this weekend.

QB Dylan McCaffrey: Harbaugh said the junior signal caller is doubtful with a concussion, which elevates sophomore Joe Milton to the primary backup role.

RB Zach Charbonnet: Harbaugh said his freshman tailback is “in a good place” despite being limited to just two carries on Saturday amid injury rumblings.

RB Tru Wilson: After missing the last two games, Harbaugh said a return is “possible” for Wilson against Rutgers.

TE Sean McKeon: McKeon injured himself on a touchdown reception and is doubtful for this weekend’s game, elevating Nick Eubanks to the top of the tight end depth chart.

DT Michael Dwumfour: The senior interior defensive lineman is expected to play.
