Week 6: Who’s in? Who’s Out?

Each week before kickoff, The Wolverine Lounge will list impact players who are in and out of action.

From our eyes, here’s the Week 6 list ahead of No. 19 Michigan’s matchup with No. 14 Iowa.

RB Tru Wilson — The senior pass-blocking guru made his return last week against Rutgers with a pad on his injured hand. He’ll play once again today, but look for Christian Turner and Zach Charbonnet to play the biggest roles in the backfield.

DL Mike Dwumfour — Dwumfour, who’s been hampered by injuries for most of this season, played against Rutgers last week and is probable against the Hawkeyes.

QB Dylan McCaffrey — The junior signal-caller sustained a concussion in the loss at Wisconsin and didn’t see the field against Rutgers. He’ll miss this afternoon’s game against Iowa, elevating Joe Milton to the primary backup spot once again.

TE Sean McKeon — McKeon injured himself on a touchdown reception against the Badgers and missed last weekend’s game. His absence thrusts Nick Eubanks to the top of the tight end depth chart against Iowa. Expect to see more snaps for Erick All as well.

LB Josh Ross — The junior linebacker sustained an injury against Wisconsin and didn’t play against Rutgers last week. After a dominant performance at middle linebacker in Ross’ place, expect to see Cam McGrone against Iowa.
