According to a report from Bruce Feldman, Michigan is set to hire Dan Enos as an offensive assistant with a position group that remains unclear.

The report comes on the heels of many changes that might affect Michigan’s offensive staff in the near future. The two most speculated to possibly depart being offensive coordinator Tim Drevno and Pass Game Coordinator Pep Hamilton.
What The Wolverine Lounge is hearing following the Dan Enos hire
The Wolverine Lounge has heard from multiple sources that there’s been a push from other staff members to make changes on the offensive staff. But there’s a lingering doubt that such changes will happen, outside of bringing in Enos.
With Enos coming in, this leaves Michigan with three current or former offensive coordinators on the offensive staff in Enos, Drevno, and Hamilton.
That’s prone to cause some chaos. Expect at least one of these cooks to exit the kitchen.

Enos’ position on the staff is yet to be determined as most expect more changes to come to the staff in the near future. With his extensive experience on offense, he could fit in at any number of positions, including QB/Co-OC, RB coach (assuming Jay Harbaugh moves back to TEs), or WRs which is currently staffed by a GA.
Arkansas ranked 10th in the SEC this year with 373 yards per game – 205 passing and 168 rushing. Senior QB Austin Allen passed for 1427 Yards, 10 TDs, and 56.2% completion rate. He was a 4star recruit, ranked as the 20th top Pro Style QB of his class. He was forced to sit out 4 games this year due to a shoulder injury. The Razorbacks went through a season similar to Michigan’s with injuries at key positions and heavy attrition from the year before.

One of the reasons the Hogs struggled offensively this year is because they lost almost 2500 yards of production from their 2016 receiving corps. They also lost their best running back in Rawleigh Williams III who retired from football due to a second serious neck injury.
In his 5 years at Central Michigan, Enos was 26-36 with 2 bowl appearances, including a win over Western Kentucky in the 2012 Little Caesars Bowl at Ford Field.
Enos got his start in coaching as a GA under George Perles after a playing career that included two Big Ten Championships, a Rose Bowl victory, and a win over #1 Michigan in 1990.
