As Michigan’s 2019 season goes on, so does its search in to land a coveted 2020 recruiting class. A number of recruits were at the Big House Saturday to witness the Wolverines’ 10-3 win over Iowa.
A few notable prospects were:
Johnson, who has offers from both Penn State and Iowa, canceled his visit earlier this season but was back in Ann Arbor on Saturday. He is expected to visit again on Oct. 26 when Michigan takes on Notre Dame. Johnson is ranked as the no. 95 player in the country, the no. 3 TE, and the top-ranked player in Ontario, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
2021 5-Star QB commit JJ McCarthy (IL.), 2021 3-Star SDE Ryan Keeler (IL.), and 2020 ILB Marcus Griffin (IL.) were all on the sidelines for Michigan’s victory.
After visiting Ann Arbor in July as part of the BBQ at the Big House, the Brentwood Academy guard was back at Michigan Stadium on Saturday and came away impressed according to The Michigan Insider. 247’s Composite Rankings have Josey listed as the no. 379 overall prospect, the no. 14 OG and the no. 11 player in Tennessee. He currently has no crystal ball projections.
